Up 3–4 Times a Night? I Thought It Was Just Aging…

At first, I didn’t think much of it. I figured it was just part of getting older. Everyone talks about it like it’s normal.

But after a while, it started catching up with me.

Tired man at work

I’d wake up tired... then drag myself through the day trying to stay focused. Simple things at work started taking longer than they should. I’d reread the same thing twice and still miss details. I was not performing like the experienced employee that I am and my boss began noticing my mistakes.

Driving home was the worst.

There were days I felt so worn out I had to turn the radio up just to stay alert. That’s when it really hit me—this wasn’t just “a bad night’s sleep” anymore.

Even time with my grandkids wasn’t the same.

Instead of enjoying it, I just felt drained... like I was going through the motions. That bothered me more than anything. I couldn’t go on like this. I had to do something.

At first, I tried the obvious things.

I stopped drinking anything a couple hours before bed. I made sure to go right before lying down. I even tried adjusting my sleep schedule.

Some nights were a little better... but it never really fixed the problem. I’d still find myself waking up again and again, staring at the clock, knowing exactly what was coming next.

What Was Really Going On?

That’s when I started wondering if something else was going on.

Man researching late at night

Not just “getting older”... but something I hadn’t really paid attention to before.

I started looking into why this keeps happening to so many men, especially at night.

What I found surprised me.

It turns out, there are specific reasons this tends to happen more as men get older—and more importantly, there are ways people are addressing it that I had never even heard about before.

That was the first time I realized this might actually be something I could do something about.

After digging into it a bit more, I decided to try a natural approach that was designed specifically for this issue.

Nothing extreme. Just something simple I could add to my routine and see if it made a difference.

I wasn’t expecting much at first... but after a while, I started noticing something I hadn’t felt in a long time.

Fewer interruptions at night. And more importantly... I wasn’t dragging through the next day anymore.

If you’ve been dealing with the same thing, it might be worth taking a look at what I found.

I put together a short page that explains it in more detail and how it works.
